My name is Nakia Davis and I am the Executive Assistant to the President and Co-Founder Pastor Paul Bains at WeHOPE Homeless Shelter in East Palo Alto. Receiving toiletry donations such as tissue paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and conditioner is very essential to our everyday needs. Our Dignity on Wheels Mobile Hygiene Units provide showers, laundry and case management to our unhoused communities in 5 counties and over 20 sites throughout the Bay Area. So receiving a donation like this from you is very well needed and appreciated. It's a HUGE IMPACT. Some items we take for granted until we have none.
Keep serving and giving back for a BETTER Community.

Thank you so much for your work. I know this will be a lifelong journey for you.
Pleasanton Mayor, Karla Brown
You are doing wonderful things and should be very proud. I am proud of our youth in our community who are doing great things to benefit those less fortunate.
Pleasanton Vice Mayor, Valerie Arkin
The Tri-Valley Haven staff and I would like to sincerely thank the Gold Bear Foundation for their generous donation of feminine hygiene supplies.

These items are needed and utilized by the individuals and families residing at our domestic violence shelter and at our homeless shelter. Many people enter our shelters with only the clothes on their backs. Having the appropriate feminine hygiene supplies and toiletries is essential for our residents feeling safe and comfortable while they heal from the trauma they've experienced.

We greatly appreciate your kind donation to Tri-Valley Haven!

Thank you to Gold Bear Foundation for hosting a donation drive for essential items to be used at HomeFirst Emergency Housing Shelters in Santa Clara County.
Reya and her crew collected our most needed personal hygiene items along with towels, giving the simple yet profound dignity of personal cleanliness to people who lack access to these items. Your compassion and generosity are making an impact in our community!

“On behalf of our residents and Building Futures women and children, I would like to Thank Ms. Jiya Patil for being a consistent Diner donor for our site. She has worked her way in feeding 20+ women in our shelter for some diners now. I and many others appreciate her hard work and consistency. Many times we don’t have consistency with our diner donors and for someone to show love for feeding the homeless is completely amazing at such a young age.”
Fabiola Gutierrez, Site Coordinator BFWC

"Gold Bear Foundation has been such a blessing during these rough times. They have made the effort to cook for our shelter at least once a month, and have gone as far as donating items such as shampoos, conditioners, deodorant, etc. when we ran out. Thank you so much to Jiya and Gold Bear Foundation for all your help!"

"“Thank you so so much for your help Jiya. For a group of teens your age to be helping out so much and giving to this cause so selflessly is amazing. Every time one of our kids or women needs help, we are all so grateful for people like you. Without you and your organization, none of this would be possible, so we are just so thankful for Gold Bear Foundation. "
